ABC Wednesday > K is for Kale

Kale makes me laugh. I have been gardening on Gabriola for four years now and I've always had kale but never once have I actually planted it. It just appears as if by magic. I have an allotment plot at The Commons and most of my neighbours there grow kale on purpose so it's not surprising it would turn up in my soil. But this year, I've started growing food at home as well,  where there are no other gardens in sight. Lo and behold, guess what showed up a couple of weeks ago?

Old School

I've become fascinated with old wooden rowboats lately. This beauty lives at Silva Bay.
