Sandor Csepregi visited Gabriola recently but he got here by fairly unusual means: He swam. I met him on the dock at Degnen Bay around 6:00am as he arrived after his crossing from Valdez Island. He was in the process of swimming from his home base on Pender Island to all of the other southern gulf islands in order to raise awareness about local food security issues.
