Mercury M-100 Pickup

Ford produced Mercury pickup trucks in Canada from 1946-68. I'd never seen one til moving to Gabriola. You can find out more about them here. I'm not absolutely certain but I think this one is a 1965 model.

I never knew Mercury produced a pickup truck either. First one I ever saw.

I still have the old blogs but I also have new ones Abe Lincoln Blogs and also look at Abraham Lincoln's Blog

I didn't guess yesterday. I would have guessed Ford but it didn't occur to me that it could have been a pick up.

I'd guess around '65 too.

So it is a Ford. US. had Fords and Canada had Mercury and they were the same. Living so close to the border we saw it all the time.

Love the oldies, but I don't recall ever seeing one of these. A beauty to be sure. Like the B&W in the previous post too.

I wasn't even close but are we surprised?? I hardly now the year of my own car. But my friend, it's a red truck so I'm all about it. Stop by my place tomorrow. I'm right behind ya!

PS Did you consider BW? The shiny red distracts me from really noticing the eyes, I mean headlights! tee hee.

My Dad recently purchased a 1946 Mercury 1/2 ton Pickup. It really attracts a lot of attention here in Arkansas. Thanks for the website. It had great pics and info.
