Oddshots Monday > Rope Swing

This isn't nearly as sinister as it seems on first glance. It's just a kid's swing photographed against the bright September sun at Whalebone Beach.

LOl, yes, I had to do a double take on this shot! I've never seen a rope swing like that before, neat!

Whew, that's a relief. This one certainly jumps right off the portal (when it's up and running!). BW was the only choice for this one!

I now have my own favourites in a list to circumvent the portal problems but I do agree with Virginia: this one grabs the eye.

I like the composition but think the sun is still a bit glarey. It does, however, heighten the atmosphere around the concept of "noose"

LOVE IT !!! the sinister noose swinging near the sea, Yes, I know its a swing, but it brings to mind pirates and adventure, its a fantastic shot, really, really original, Superb.

No, you can't deny it, it's sinister but so evocative. Elegant in it's simplicity.

Yes, it got all of our attention up front.

Haha wow. I was about to suggest counselling. Good job, nonetheless. Check out my oddshot.

I realized from the thumbnail that it isn't a hangman's knot but it still looks pretty grim. Your composition stresses that, and to dramatic effect. And I thought Canada was a peaceful, gentle county.
